Adoption Eligibility Requirements
Covenant Care Services is a ministry committed to placing children in distinctly two-parent Christian families. We are licensed by the State of Georgia as a Foster Care and Child Placing Agency.
Our goal in working with adoptive parents is to inform, educate, evaluate and train families in the complex issues of adoption. Covenant Care Services will do all we can to assist you in adopting a child. However, it is important for you to understand two important policies as you begin the adoption process. First, our goal is to find the best home available for each child and secondly, Covenant Care does not have an exclusive arrangement with our adoptive families. Covenant Care encourages each family to pursue other adoption avenues so that the opportunity to adopt may be more flexible.
With such things in mind, if you meet our eligibility requirements listed below, we welcome you to contact us to begin the process of adoption!
- Both husband and wife must be between the ages of 25 and 45.
- If this is a first marriage, you must be married at least three years, or if it is a second or subsequent marriage, at least five years.
- Both husband and wife must be professing Christians and members of the same evangelical church. They must sign a Statement of Faith and maintain a pro-life position.
