Free Resources and Georgia Insurance Options for Pregnant Women in Georgia

1. Right from the Start Medicaid (RSM)

  • Georgia’s Medicaid program for pregnant women.
     

  • Covers prenatal care, labor/delivery, and 60 days postpartum care.
     

  • May cover care retroactively for up to three months prior to application if you were pregnant and eligible.
     

Cost: Usually no copays or out-of-pocket expenses.

2. Presumptive Eligibility Clinics

  • Provide immediate, temporary Medicaid coverage while your application is processed.
