Adoptive Mom Info

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Georgia State University

Employment: Business Development Manager

Hobbies: CrossFit has been a big part of my life for the past decade and is something I spend much of my free time doing. I value not only the fitness aspect, but also the strong sense of community and the family-friendly environment at the gym.

I also play on the tennis team at our local swim and tennis club. In addition, I am part of a book club and love staying active outdoors. Whether it is hiking with our dog, mountain biking, paddleboarding, or simply spending time outside, I enjoy almost any activity that gets us out in nature and moving together.

Personality: I am pretty outgoing and love being around friends and family, but I also really value quiet time at home to reset. I have a sarcastic sense of humor and try not to take myself too seriously. At the end of the day, I am someone the people in my life can count on. If they need help, support, or just someone to show up, I am there.

Adoptive Father Info

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Economics from Emory University

Employment: Supply Planner

Hobbies: I grew up camping and still love it. Being outside has just always been part of who I am. I was captain of our tennis team for several years and genuinely love the game. I am also part of a cornhole league, which is mostly a great excuse to compete and have a good time with friends.

Fishing, kayaking, and sitting around the fire pit are some of my favorite ways to unwind. I also like tackling projects around the house and finding ways to make our home a little better along the way.

Personality: I am definitely an extrovert and love being around our friends and family. I plan an annual golf outing every year and usually end up being the one organizing trips and get-togethers. I just enjoy bringing people together.

I am also pretty analytical and like learning new things and looking at situations from different angles. I tend to stay even-keeled, and little changes or inconveniences do not bother me much. I have a go with the flow approach to life.

Length of Marriage: 6 Years

Church: Non-Denominational

Children in Home: None

Community Setting: We live in a suburb of Metro Atlanta with great schools, plenty of parks, and an active community. A lot of life here revolves around being outside, whether that is time at the playground, walking local trails, or joining in on neighborhood events. It feels like a comfortable, family-oriented place to call home.

Home Setting: Our home is nestled on almost one acre of land, which gives us plenty of privacy and space to play while still being close to everything a Metro Atlanta suburb offers. Our backyard and patio are some of our favorite places to spend time. We have cozy outdoor furniture that makes it easy to enjoy a movie outside on a crisp fall afternoon or host a fun summer movie night.

The backyard is large and flat and backs up to a wooded area where we see deer almost every day. Our home is a ranch style with a basement, so our main living spaces are all on one floor, with extra room downstairs. Our swim and tennis club is just around the corner, making it easy to spend long days at the pool or enjoy tennis and pickleball matches.
