Meet Your Counselor
Each of our counselors serves an entire region of Georgia. No matter where you are within her region, your counselor will travel to you and meet you in the environment where you are most comfortable. Kristen graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2006 with a degree in English, and lived in Statesboro for 12 years. She now lives in Calhoun with her husband Justin and their three children. Kristen was the Director of Client Services at Choices of the Heart Pregnancy Resource Center in Statesboro before joining Covenant Care in 2018. She enjoys reading, running, listening to music and podcasts, and watching baseball.
A native Texan, Amy earned her M.A. in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary after receiving her B.A. in Special Education Focused Child Development from Texas Christian University. She is married to Chris, who is a youth pastor at First Presbyterian Church, Macon. Amy joined our team in 2017 and is honored to have the opportunity to walk adoptive families through the pre-placement process, from home study to pre-placement counseling and placement.
Millie was born and raised in Macon, GA. She graduated from Covenant Academy, and attended Samford University in Birmingham, AL where she received a B.A. in Human Development and Family Life Education with a minor in Communication Studies. At CCS, Millie comes alongside birth parents as they navigate through the adoption process, and she faithfully serves birthmothers from the first meeting to post placement. Millie attends Northway Church where her family is active members.
Metro Atlanta & West Georgia
Katie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Family Ministry from Toccoa Falls College. At CCS, she walks along side birth families and lovingly serves birth mothers from the first meeting through post placement. She is married to Luke, and together they are the parents of two children adopted through Covenant Care.
Laura was born and raised in Tennessee where she graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Psychology and Child & Family Services. She now lives in Statesboro GA with her husband George and two children. She is a birthmother herself and feels it is a privilege and honor to walk along other expectant mothers and fathers who are considering making an adoption plan.
