We are pleased to announce that for the second year Covenant Care Services has been awarded a $15,000 grant from the St. Marys United Methodist Church Foundation. The purpose of the grant is to provide adoption counseling for women in Camden, Brantley, Charlton and Glynn counties in 2016-2017.
$5,000 of the grant was offered as a matching challenge. Gifts to CCS noted as being for the matching grant will be matched by the Foundation, dollar for dollar, up to $5,000. Online contributions can be made here.
Birthmother Caseworker Lisa Tweed expressed her appreciation for the grant:
I’m very thankful for this grant as it enables personal pregnancy and adoption counseling so that women are able to make the best choices for their babies and families. This grant will allow us to not only serve these women, but to also reach out within the St. Marys community to build stronger relationships that will benefit all.
